This is a brownfield redevelopment project. Reusing the existing structure on this site we were able to balance the programmatic needs of the recreational building with the parking requirements. This was crucial because we did not want to spend any more money on site improvements and site infrastructure than was necessary to meet the specific needs of the client and the city while maintaining a very high level of design.
