Trailhead Redevelopment, Plymouth MI
This is a brownfield redevelopment project. We developed the initial site concept with the idea in mind that we wanted to create a strong pedestrian path through the site in order to draw people from the surrounding neighborhoods in and through the site. The green space amenity is key in not only allowing pedestrian circulation, but also in stitching the site together. Each building is allowed to play off of that green space. After developing the initial ideas we worked closely with Grissim, Metz, Andriese and Associates to refine the idea to the level that is presented here. Phase 1 includes the YMCA and a small retail/office building.
