YMCA Adaptive Reuse
This project required taking an existing front half of a container building and injecting a recreational center program into it. It was a priority of the developer to fit this program into the existing space while minimizing expensive structural changes. In order to maximize the visual impact we proposed to create one simple vertical section to house the climbing wall, thus killing two birds with one stone and saving some money.
